All American Sterilizer Pressure Cookers are not recommended for use on the glass top and ceramic top flat ranges because their weight may cause the glass or ceramic to break. The diameter of the sterilizers is larger than most burners and may cause heat to transfer outward and damage the surrounding surface.

Please Note: This model is compatible with any heat source (Gas, Electric).

All American 1941 is a pressure canner, and 1941X is a sterilizer. This listing is for the sterilizer.
