How to Use Thidiazuron (TDZ) Solution

To prepare tissue culture media using PCT’s premium-grade agar, follow these steps:

Prepare liquid tissue culture media using PCT’s MS or DKW media, or another suitable medium depending on your plant type.

Add sugar according to the amount of media prepared (typically 30 grams per litre), 1 ml/L of PPM, and either 3–4 g/L of gellan gum or 6–8 g/L of agar.

Add the required amount of Thidiazuron (TDZ).

Autoclave the medium for 20 minutes at 15 psi and 121°C.
